Alo!
The tabloid daily newspaper Alo was first published in September 2007. Even though Alo, since its foundation till July 2017, had the same publisher and owner as daily Blic, Alo is less informative and political in content than Blic while being much more tabloid in style.
Since July 2017 owner of Alo newspaper is Sasa Blagojevic through his company Alo media system, which was founded few months before that. The newspaper was founded and published by Ringier ltd, which was also the owner and publisher of Blic newspaper. Since the founding of Swiss-German Ringier Axel Springer in 2010, this company has been Alo’s owner and publisher until July 2017, when the Alo media outlets were sold to the new company.
The owner of Alo, Sasa Blagojevic, is also the director and one of the owners of marketing and consultancy agency Trilenium and owner of Belgrade media Studio B, through his company Global media technology, since June 2018. Blagojevic is unknown to the public in Serbia, since he is new to the media market. Furthermore, news media in Serbia have reported that Sasa Blagojevic maintains close ties to the ruling Serbian Progressive Party.
He founded the company Alo media system in March 2017, under the name Dnevne novine Alo, three months before Ringier published the statement in which it announced the sale of Alo. The company changed its name in June 2019.
The address of the company Alo media system was the same as the Belgrade address of Ringier Axel Springer ltd, since foundation of the company in March 2017 till February 2018 when Alo moved to Kosovska street in Belgrade. That's the same adress as the adress of other Blagojevic company Global media technology.
