HIT FM Radio

Hit FM is a national broadcaster with a legal obligation to produce news programming, although this radio’s content is dominated by music. The first five minutes of every hour is reserved for short news.
Since 2015, Radio Hit FM has been broadcasting on a national frequency which used to belong to Hit Music FM and Roadstar Radio. Radio Hit FM is the successor to Radio Hit Music FM, which was, until 2014, owned by Croatian Dijagram Nekretnine (49%) and Milan Pejovic (51%)
After it took over the radio, Maksim Media Plus declared bankruptcy of Radio Hit Music FM and founded Hit FM, which has continued to broadcast on the same frequency to this day. Branivoje Lazovic, the owner and founder of Roadstar Radio, gained a national frequency in the allocations carried out in 2006. At that time, this radio station was part of the company Euroluks Petrol d.o.o., which also owned the petrol station ELP along with the Roadstar Restaurant and bar. In 2009, Lazovic was arrested for unlawful enrichment, as well as for illegally swapping land on the outskirts of Belgrade for commercial property in the city center belonging to the City of Belgrade.
Several days before that, in February 2009, a delegation of several Serbian bankers visited the then Prime Minister to express concern over Lazovic’s debts of €50 million euros, which had arisen in relation to Euroluks Petrol. Since then, Lazovic seems to have vanished, but the radio has remained on the airwaves as Hit FM and is today one of the 10 most listened radio stations in Serbia.

The name of the director of Radio TDI is linked to the purchase and later sale of radio-television Studio B. Krdzic bought Studio B during the media privatization process in 2015. Since then, around €40 million of public money has been granted to the television station through public media tenders by the city of Belgrade. Following the change in ownership of Studio B, support to the ruling SNS became a key component of the reporting of this television station, particularly during the 2018 Belgrade elections.
Three years after the privatization, Studio B was bought by Sasa Blagojevic in 2018. The company Global Media Technology, owned by Blagojevic, bought the daily newspaper Alo in 2017.
