Media Companies
A small but influential number of Serbian media companies remain in state owned hands, primarily the two public broadcasting services, Radio Television Serbia and Radio Television Vojvodina. Aside from a small number of media outlets, which are still only partially privatized, such as Vecernje Novosti or Politika, most other media outlets are owned by private media companies. Most of them based in Serbia are registered as limited liability companies (doo), but a small number of companies in the media sector are also public limited companies (ad), the key difference being that the shares of the latter are traded on the stock exchange.
